Gaze paralysis
A neurological condition in which it is impossible or difficult to move the eyes in a certain direction. Gaze paralysis can be caused by lesions in areas such as the pons, midbrain, or other parts of the brainstem that control eye movements. There are two main types: gaze palsy, in which both eyes are unable to move in the same direction, and gaze disagreement, in which one eye may not be in sync with the other in a particular direction, the condition can be caused by stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, or other neurological disorders.
