Harrower-Erickson Multiple Choice Rorschach Test (MCRT)

projective psychodiagnostic test. which was developed in 1945 and was used for screening testing by the U.S. Army military for a while. In this variation of the Rorschach test, each card was offered a ready-made list of associations, some of which are statistically more common in people with mental disorders. A person who chose a lot of “bad” answers was considered a candidate for further examinations. This attempt, like all similar ones, ended in failure. The accuracy of the technique turned out to be less acceptable, and practical use was curtailed. Nevertheless, certain correlations did take place and were considered in Hans Jürgen Eysenck’s book “Dimensions of Personality”.
