Harvard Step Test
a test to determine physical performance. With its help, the body’s reaction to dosed physical activity is determined, during which the dynamics of the heart rate is recorded. To conduct the test, you need a bench, on which you should climb in the rhythm of 30 cycles in 1 minute. Each ascent consists of 4 steps: right foot on the bench, then left foot on the bench, then right foot down and left foot down. The duration of the test is 4 minutes. The quantitative criterion for assessing physical performance is the pulse.
