Health Psychology
A science that studies psychological and behavioral processes related to health, disease, and health care. It explores how psychological, behavioral and cultural factors affect the physical condition of a person, as well as methods and means of preserving, strengthening and developing health. The object of health psychology is mainly a healthy personality, and the task is to help people maintain health, adapt to environmental conditions and improve the quality of life. In this science, special attention is paid to the individual psychological resources of a person, which allow you to maintain health under the influence of various adverse factors. Health psychology combines knowledge of psychology with medical, social, and behavioral science, applying a biopsychosocial approach to understanding health and disease.
