Hyperthymia

A person’s mood disorder associated with elevated mood (the opposite of hypothymia). This state is characterized by a cheerful, carefree, elated mood, with a rise in strength, energy, and a sense of optimism. Within the framework of hyperthymia, euphoria is also distinguished – an unjustifiably cheerful, carefree, serene mood, an unconscious flash of joy and happiness.
