Hypodynamia

(from the Greek hypo – little, not enough and dynamis – strength) – limitation of motor activity due to the peculiarities of lifestyle, professional activity, prolonged bed rest, a person’s stay in zero gravity; It has a negative effect not only on muscles, but also on many organs and physiological systems. Muscle work is one of the physiologically important elements of normal life, it affects the osteoarticular system, blood circulation, respiration, metabolism, endocrine balance, and the activity of the nervous system. Therefore, an adequate level of motor activity harmoniously forms the body in anatomical and functional terms, largely determines resistance to adverse environmental conditions and pathogenic agents. Hypodynamia leads to a decrease in the functional capabilities of the muscular system. In conditions of limited muscle activity, detraining of the cardiovascular system occurs, mineral metabolism disorders occur, osteoporosis develops, asthenic syndrome occurs, manifested by rapid fatigue and emotional instability, delays the formation of the body and accelerates its aging. Most disorders that have arisen due to insufficient muscle activity are reversible when its deficiency is replenished.
