Individual work with the case
a method of psychosocial work, in which a social worker (or psychotherapist) acts as the main and only tool for influencing the client. At the same time, the social worker’s contact can be carried out with one client or a group of people (for example, members of the client’s family). In such cases, social work with a group is understood as a special form of individual work. The main stages of individual work are: case opening, contact, diagnosis (identification of client needs), goal setting, work planning (with barrier assessment), intervention implementation, monitoring and control, intervention evaluation, case closure.
