Information stress
a state of psychophysical and emotional tension resulting from an overload of the body with information or, conversely, a lack of necessary data. It develops under the influence of an excessive, contradictory, unstructured, or too rapid flow of information, which causes disturbances in cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes. Information stress affects the decrease in attention, memory, performance, can cause anxiety, apathy, sleep disorders and other physiological reactions.
