Inheriting Digital Engagement
A phenomenon in which people are indirectly influenced by digital interaction patterns inherited from the online behavior of previous generations. In other words, when interacting with digital technology, people may adopt digital behaviors or communication styles previously formed by older generations or people in their social circle. From a psychological point of view, it can lead to psychological consequences due to social expectations, which can be distorted or inadequate, leading to an internal conflict between digital traditions and personal needs.
