Interaction between neural structure and functional activity
The brain does not develop in isolation from the child’s everyday experience. On the contrary, it is directly influenced by motor activity, play (activity), sensory sensations and social experience. Any activity of the child activates certain neural areas, strengthening neural connections and increasing the efficiency of their functioning. This constant interaction between neural structure and functional activity constitutes the cornerstone of psychological development and emphasizes the role of experience in the formation of brain structures.
