Internal health picture
A holistic, subjective view of a person’s health, including awareness of its value, ways to achieve and maintain health, as well as an assessment of one’s own physical and mental state and available resources. The internal picture of health is formed under the influence of social and cultural factors through the process of internalization of social values and norms, as well as personal experience. It serves as a regulator of human behavior aimed at maintaining health and adapting to the environment.
