Interprofessional interaction
ensuring communication and mutual understanding in the activities of specialists of different profiles, focused on the same client; is considered as the main principle of the team style of work of specialists in the process of comprehensive rehabilitation of persons with disabilities (see Brigade method of work). It involves a joint change in the perceptions of partners, the exchange of information and experience, mutual learning, personal and professional growth, and the stimulation of business activity. Everyone is given to understand that they are respected and valued as a specialist. At the same time, there is the formation of an interdisciplinary “vision of the object” and a “common language”, the development of models of team interaction, with a new style of relationships, the desire to understand and support each other. When working together, attention is focused on the problems of the mentees, and not on personal interests and emotions, provided that they actively listen and ensure a psychological response from each specialist. As a result, psychological compatibility of team members is achieved and a common style of communication with customers is developed.
