concept, which is a kind of continuation of the concept of continuing education. The term enriches the concept of lifelong learning by focusing on the extent of lifelong learning at any given stage. The essence of the concept is to cover various aspects of a person’s life with training, to improve not only his professional skills, but also to develop other equally important, necessary and interesting types of skills for him. It is worth noting that the term “lifewide learning” was first used by Joost Reischmann in 1986, and in Russian educational psychology there is still no clear definition for this concept that would succinctly describe its essence.
