Little’s disease (spastic diplegia)
one of the forms of cerebral palsy; It is expressed in paralysis of the limbs, mainly the legs, caused by innervation disorders when certain parts of the brain are affected by birth injuries, asphyxia of newborns, etc. About 30% of children with Little’s disease have intellectual impairments, mainly mild debility. As a secondary disorder, mental retardation often occurs, which, with timely and correct corrective and educational work, is compensated by the beginning of school age. See. Little, William Johnson in Chapter 5 Famous Scientists, Their Scientific Schools and Organizations in Psychological Science.
