Main psychophysical deviations in correctional and pedagogical work
disorders of the functions of systems and organs leading to disability, which must be taken into account when drawing up socio-cultural and comprehensive rehabilitation programs to expand the scope of independence of a person with disabilities, increase the effectiveness of his social development and self-assertion in society. The main psychophysical deviations in the formation of the personality of a person with a disability can be considered:
1) sensory, motor, cognitive disorders that cause a decrease in the possibilities of learning and socialization;
2) delay in sensory-motor development, which hinders the formation of object-practical activity;
3) violation of the emotional-volitional sphere, leading to communication disorders, a decrease in psycho-emotional control, and the predominance of negative emotions;
4) limitation of interaction with the environment and social environment, leading to frustration (dissatisfaction of the need for social contacts).
The content of socio-cultural rehabilitation should be built taking into account the main psychophysical disorders in order to create workarounds to restore the connection between a person with a disability and the environment.
