Major neurodevelopmental disorders
Classification of disorders:
1) Speech disorders: dyslexia, stuttering and poor understanding of addressed speech.
2) Movement disorders: problems with coordination of movements, difficulties with writing and the organization of fine and gross motor skills, reflecting a complex interaction between the motor system and higher mental functions.
3) Memory and attention disorders: disorders of modal-specific memory, attention deficit and difficulty concentrating for a long time, which affects the child’s learning and academic performance.
4) Behavioral and emotional disorders: hyperactivity, impulsivity, difficulties with emotional regulation and social interaction.
5) Disharmonious development: imbalance in mental development associated with imbalance in the functioning of mental processes and defects in the emotional-volitional sphere. With such development, deviations from the pace of functioning of the psyche and its individual components, acceleration or slowdown in the work of individual mental processes can be observed.
