Man and the environment (interactive relationships)

The relationship between man and the environment is dynamic and interactive: man is influenced by his physical and social environment, while transforming it according to his needs and values. The environment affects mental and physical health, behavioural patterns and the formation of individual and collective identities. At the same time, people change the environment through technology, planning and daily activities, both in a positive (sustainable development) and negative (pollution, resource depletion) way. These mutual relations reflect the concept of an open dynamic system based on the continuous interaction of elements of the environment and man.
