The purpose of medical and pedagogical rehabilitation is the formation, preservation and strengthening of the health of children and adolescents. There is also a distinction between special (individual) medical and pedagogical rehabilitation, the purpose of which is the complete elimination of pathological changes that disrupt the normal development of the child’s body, or the maximum possible compensation for congenital or acquired deviations in the state of health by medical and pedagogical measures and the return of the subject in the shortest possible time to the way of life characteristic of his age, which ensures harmonious physical and spiritual development. The main contingent: children with functional deviations: weakened, children with morphological deviations, children with chronic diseases in the compensation stage.
