(from the Greek language absence of speech sound) – disturbance in the production of speech sound, caused either by impairment in neurodynamic processes, or due to lack of coordination between the speech engine or the audiomotor analyzer, Or due to anatomical defects in the structure of the articular organs with normal hearing and proper nerve supply of the speech system.
