A structural unit of activity is the result of the work of the motor psychophysiological apparatus to implement a motor act, through which interaction with the external environment occurs. In movement, the physiological activity of a person is manifested. Only a small number of locomotor movements are unconditionally reflex (knee, blinking, and other reflexes), while the majority of regulatory mechanisms are conditionally reflexive, i.e., they are formed during life. Consequently, the main mechanism of movement formation is the development of conditioned motor reflexes in the process of movement itself.
