Myasthenia gravis (asthenic bulbar palsy, Erb-Goldflam’s disease)

A chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes pathological weakness and fatigue of voluntary muscles. Most often, there is a violation of the masticatory, facial, eye muscles, less often – the muscles of the respiratory organs. The main clinical manifestation of myasthenia gravis is the syndrome of pathological muscle fatigue (increased manifestations of myasthenia gravis after physical exertion and their decrease after rest).
