Myers-Briggs Personality Type Test
A psychological tool developed to determine a person’s preferences in perceiving information and making decisions, based on Carl Jung’s theory of personality types. The MBTI classifies personality into four dichotomies: extroversion/introversion, sensory/intuition, thinking/feeling, and judgment/perception, forming 16 unique types. This indicator is widely used for self-knowledge, the development of interpersonal interaction and professional orientation, although its scientific validity and applicability in academic psychology remain a matter of debate. This theory is debatable and at the moment (2025) is not scientifically proven in the scientific psychological community.
