Impaired attention, expressed in pathological concentration of attention due to the weakness of its distribution. An adult patient can simultaneously perceive no more than 2-3 units of information (with a norm of 5-6 units). Narrowing of the volume of attention is observed in tumors and traumatic lesions of the brain, neurotic disorders and some somatic diseases.
