Negotiations based on the law are one of the non-violent ways of combating crime, which in a number of criminal situations is a dialogue with criminals in order to persuade them, through psychological influence, to agree on the renunciation of further criminal activity, active assistance in the disclosure and investigation of crimes, the search for and detention of criminals, the elimination of the harm caused, and the receipt of operational and criminalistically significant information.
