psychogenic disorders due to the influence of psychotraumatic events associated with a somatic disease. Nosogenies can be manifested by neurotic (anxious-phobic, overvalued, hypochondriacal, hysterical), affective (depression, hypomania, euphoria) and pathocharacterological syndromes. The type of response to the disease will determine the behavior of the person and, accordingly, the psychotherapeutic tactics of the doctor or social worker participating in the rehabilitation process (see Personality Response to Illness in Chapter 2.5. Key Psychological Concepts in the Psychology of Special Categories).
