Optical ataxia
A neurological disorder in which a person has difficulty grasping objects or directing their hand toward objects under visual control, despite normal vision and motor abilities. The condition occurs when the areas of the parietal lobe responsible for integrating visual information with motor commands are damaged, resulting in impaired coordination between vision and movement. People with optic ataxia may have difficulty directing their movements toward objects, even if they can see them clearly.
