Parental burnout
a state of emotional, physical and mental exhaustion that occurs due to the constant stress and overload associated with the care and upbringing of children. It manifests itself in chronic fatigue, a feeling of helplessness, a decrease in emotional involvement, a feeling of emptiness that arises in a situation where it is necessary to provide help or emotional support to the child. Parental burnout, one way or another, leads to a complete or partial inability to perform parental functions.
