Perceptual action
The basic structural units of the perception process provide the conscious selection of a certain aspect of a sensuously given situation, as well as the transformation of sensory information, leading to the construction of an image adequate to the objective world and the tasks of activity. The development of perceptual actions is accompanied by a significant reduction in motor components, and the process of perception takes the form of a one-time act. Objective action is more complex psychophysiological formations than actions proper. They are directly related to the purpose of activity and have a certain objective content. They manifest attitudes to reality. The formed object actions, having become personal property, act as skills and abilities – ways of behavior and activity.
