Personality

one of the fundamental concepts in psychology. It denotes a fixed and unique set of stable psychological characteristics that determine human behavior and the nature of mental processes, including thinking and emotions. Personality is formed under the influence of various factors, including genetic, environmental, and personal experiences. The study of personality has a long and diverse research history in psychology and includes multiple theoretical approaches, such as dispositional (trait), psychodynamic, humanistic, biological, behaviorist, and social learning theories. Research in this field is based on empirical data and places significant emphasis on the practical application of personality assessment. In the Emirati–Russian dictionary, within the general scientific approach, a separate section is devoted to personality psychology (see Chapter 1.7. Key Psychological Concepts in Personality Psychology).
