Systemic behavioral disorders, primarily social ones, arising as a result of various mental illnesses and local brain lesions, are characterized by a decrease in the level of activity, the disappearance of criticality, a change in the direction and dynamics of motivation, and a violation of self-esteem. As a rule, pathological needs and motives associated with dependence on them develop; there is a restructuring of the system of motives; the level of mediation of motives, which normally determines delayed behavior, decreases; the correlation between the motive and sense-forming functions of motives is disturbed.
