Phonetic underdevelopment of speech (FND)

a disorder in the formation of the pronunciation side of speech, in which there is a defective pronunciation of one or more sounds of the native language. In FND, various types of sound pronunciation disorders are observed: distortions, substitutions, omissions of sounds. Early detection of speech disorders is important – deficiencies in sound pronunciation in preschool age can lead to writing and reading disorders.
