Physiological psychology

a branch of psychology aimed at describing and explaining mental phenomena through the prism of physiological and neurological processes. The term was introduced by Wilhelm Wundt. The object of the study is the processes that are accessible to both external and internal observation, which have both physiological and psychological aspects.
