A neurodegenerative disease that leads to a gradual loss of language abilities, ranging from difficulty finding words and progressing to a complete loss of speech and comprehension. PPA is commonly found in people younger than 65 years of age and is often associated with Alzheimer’s disease or frontotemporal degeneration.
