According to O. G. Noskova, professional adaptation includes psychophysiological, professional, socio-psychological adaptation. Professional adaptation has a two-sided character: adaptation of a person to a profession and mutual change of the “person-profession” system. The success of adaptation depends on individual characteristics, working conditions, and organizational support.
