(from the Greek psyche – soul and genesis – generation) are pathological reactions of the neurotic or psychiatric level that arise as a result of mental traumas that cause fear, anxiety, apprehension, resentment, anguish or other negative emotions. A one-time situation of acute nervous and mental tension caused by unfavorable external conditions, as well as a long-term situation characterized by the accumulation of tension under the influence of small stimuli, can act as a psychological trauma.
