Psychology of the reproductive sphere
a direction of research and practice that separated from perinatal psychology in the first decade of the XXI century. Psychology of the reproductive sphere studies: psychophysiology of the human reproductive sphere, systemic ontogenesis of the reproductive sphere, psychophysiology of the reproductive cycle, psychosomatic features of the reproductive sphere, and so on. In the context of the psychology of the reproductive sphere, psychological diagnostics and psychological support are carried out:
1) the reproductive cycle in normal and in disorders (preparation for conception, childbirth and parenthood);
2) pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood after infertility, miscarriage, reproductive losses;
3) when using assisted reproductive technologies.
