Psychopathy (an obsolete name for Personality Disorders)
pronounced or early formed under the influence of unfavorable social factors, character pathology, inadequate development of emotional-volitional traits, in which the subject has an almost irreversible expression of properties that prevent his adequate adaptation in the social environment. In the secondary formation of abnormal character traits as a result of various diseases, we are talking about pathological (psychopath-like or neurosis-like) personality development (see Pathological development of personality in Chapter 2.5. Key Psychological Concepts in the Psychology of Special Categories).
