Psychophysiological principles of restorative education
scientific foundations of neuropsychological rehabilitation, in accordance with which the practical work of a neuropsychologist should be built:
1) The principle of qualification of the disorder is based on the fact that lesions of different parts of the brain can lead to a violation of the same mental function, but the mechanisms of these disorders will be different each time and will depend on the topic of the brain lesion. apply adequate methods of recovery to the violation.
2) The principle of using preserved analyzer systems is based on the doctrine of functional systems and their plasticity, as well as the idea of the polyreceptor nature of their afferent field and the “reserve fund” of afferents, which makes it possible to replace the affected link of the functional system with the preserved one.
3) The principle of creating new functional systems is the principle and method of restorative training, which involves the inclusion in the work of other links that have not previously been directly involved in the performance of the affected function, which makes it possible to design a new functional system. At the same time, the function begins to be carried out on a different brain basis and differs from the previous one not only in its psychological structure (in the composition of links), but also in its external course.
4) The principle of reliance on different levels of organization of mental functions – it is based on the idea that in neuropsychological disorders, higher and voluntary levels of functions suffer first of all, and its strengthened, automated levels remain preserved, the reliance on which makes it possible to restore higher levels of the affected function.
5) The principle of interaction between preserved and damaged functions suggests that the implementation of mental functions is in close interaction. In this regard, an effective way of restorative learning in the implementation of the affected function can be reliance on the preserved functions that previously interact with the damaged one in the implementation of certain processes.
6) The principle of control is based on the assumption that only a constant flow of military signaling ensures the merging of the action performed with the initial intention and the timely correction of mistakes. Hence the use of a tape recorder, mirror and other means becomes clear.
