Purpose-in-Life Test (PIL)
a psychological diagnostic test developed on the basis of Viktor Frankl’s theory of the desire for meaning and logotherapy (see Viktor Frankl in Chapter 5 Famous Scientists, Their Scientific Schools and Organizations in Psychological Science). The technique makes it possible to assess the “source” of the meaning of life, which can be found by a person either in the future (goals), or in the present (process), or in the past (result), as well as to explore the locus of control.
