Reactive approach to rest

a style of organizing recreation, in which a person begins to rest only after the onset of pronounced fatigue and depletion of resources. This approach is characterized by the lack of timely planning of rest, and recovery occurs as a forced measure in case of severe fatigue. As a result, chronic stress and the risk of burnout can occur, as rest is not perceived as an important part of life, but rather as a necessity due to the crisis of the condition. Unlike the proactive approach, reactive rest is less effective for maintaining health and performance.
