Reactive states
mental disorders that arise as a result of acute stressful situations. Sudden danger can cause a person to have a psychogenic shock, which manifests itself in panic fear and disordered motor excitement. The cause of the reactive state can be long-term mental traumas, when negative stimuli of low intensity act constantly and, accumulating, eventually lead to the so-called reactive depression. Such reactive states can take different forms: manifest themselves in a temporary loss of acquired knowledge, skills, acute delusions and reactive depression, which is characterized by melancholy, inhibition, and sometimes attempts at auto-aggression.
