Reproductive Attitudes

a set of views, beliefs and internal attitudes that determine a person’s attitude to childbirth. They can be positive or negative, aimed at giving birth to a certain number of children or abandoning them. The structure of reproductive attitudes includes three components:
1) Cognitive – ideas and understandings about children;
2) Emotional – attitude to children and the process of childbirth;
3) Behavioral – readiness or unwillingness to perform appropriate actions.
