Self-confidence in students
a sense of one’s own ability to solve educational problems and achieve academic and social success. This confidence is the cornerstone of the formation of the student’s personality, the development of his independence and motivation for responsibility and initiative. A student’s self-confidence depends on a variety of factors, such as teaching style, family support, previous achievements, and the nature of the assessment used. Students with high self-confidence are more prepared for new educational experiences, more able to interact, and better able to cope with setbacks, making them more receptive to independent and continuous learning.
