systematic work of a person with disabilities to maintain and improve the living conditions of their life, health and well-being. It includes:
1) washing (bathing), including soaping, rinsing, using a bath, shower, towel, safe transition to the bathroom and back;
2) oral hygiene, including rinsing the mouth, brushing teeth and gums;
3) taking care of one’s appearance, including washing and combing hair, shaving, using cosmetics, taking care of the skin and nails;
4) dressing, including the choice of clothing, dressing and undressing, handling buttons, zippers, etc., identifying dirty or worn clothes, putting on shoes and taking off shoes, putting on and taking off prostheses and other devices;
5) toilet – transition to the toilet bowl and back, maintaining posture, self-hygiene;
6) eating – using dishes and cutlery, bringing food to the mouth, chewing, sucking, swallowing, coughing problems;
7) mobility – moving from one place to another, walking, crossing, changing position;– use of transport – driving a car, using public transport;
8) shopping – choosing goods and making purchases;
9) handling money – budget planning, finding out the denominations of money, using money for purchases, caution in handling money;
10) cooking – planning the diet, cooking, using kitchen utensils, opening containers, storing food, maintaining cleanliness;
11) use of medicines – receipt of medicines, opening and closing of containers, taking medicines in accordance with the prescription, safe storage of medicines;
12) health maintenance – assessment of one’s health, following the instructions for maintaining health, contacting specialists if necessary;
13) safety – awareness of dangers and taking measures of technology without danger in relation to heating devices, electricity, stairs, transport, etc.
