A type of inheritance of traits in which genes that control certain characteristics are found in the autosomes or sex chromosomes of both sexes, but are phenotypically manifested only in individuals of one sex. According to the types of manifestation: autosomal limited inheritance – genes are located in autosomes, gonosomically limited inheritance – genes are located in sex chromosomes.
