Sibling jealousy

a difficult emotional state and behavioral manifestations that arise in a child at the birth of a younger brother or sister, associated with the fear of losing love, attention and significance in the eyes of parents. In a mild form, sibling jealousy is a natural reaction to a radical change in the family system and is not considered a pathology. The task of parents in this case is not to suppress jealousy, but to help the child cope with it: to recognize his feelings, to provide a sense of security and unconditional love, to save special time for the older child.
