Social readaptation (socio-adaptation)
the process of re-inclusion of an individual in the social context and the formation of compensatory social skills after a serious illness, due to which previous social ties were broken; creation of appropriate social conditions in the family (improvement of housing conditions, material support), restoration of lost contacts with others, which enable the patient to return to socially useful activities, restoration of his social status. It includes both labor readaptation and social (social adaptation).
