Spielberger-Hanin Anxiety Scale or State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI)
a method for determining the level of anxiety, developed by the American psychologist Charles Spielberger, adapted for a Russian-speaking audience by Yuri Khanin. The scale is designed for self-assessment of both the level of anxiety at the moment (anxiety as a state) and personal anxiety (a stable characteristic, personality trait). The test consists of two parts, each of which contains 20 questions-statements (a total of 40 questions).
