Stages of grief
psychological concept according to which grief, despite its uniqueness, has relatively general patterns of course. That is, there are more or less general stages (stages, phases) of experiencing loss. It is worth noting that in all the variety of periodizations of grief, it is important to perceive the stages not as universal laws, but as “beacons” that help to orient oneself in the space of grief. It is important to remember that the stages of grief are non-linear and individual. The classical model of the loss stage belongs to E. Kübler-Ross and includes the following stages:
1) The stage of shock and numbness
2) The stage of
denial 3) The stage of anger and resentment
4) The stage of guilt and obsession
5) The stage of depression and suffering
6) The stage of acceptance and reorganization.
