Subject of work

the object to which the labor activity of the subject is directed; that which is transformed in the process of labour. It includes natural objects, technology, sign systems, artistic images, and a person. The subject of work determines the specifics of professional activity and requirements for professionally important qualities of an employee. According to the definition of E. A. Klimov, the subject of labor is a system of properties and interrelations of things, phenomena, processes that a person working at a certain labor post must mentally or practically operate (recognize, take into account, order, transform, preserve or search for them).
